Asbestos.

The management team have received specific training in Asbestos Awareness Training, Testing/Sampling and the identification and reporting of asbestos containing materials. The most recent training, undertaken in our Training Room, provided by an industry specialist, took place during November 2009.

Asbestos is contained within many different surfaces, including artex, thermoplastic tiles, adhesives between thermoplastic tiles and concrete, within ducting and venting areas, behind boxed in sanitary ware and around old cast pipes. Frankly, the rule of thumb is to test where any doubt exists.

We utilise a number of specialists and have relations with most of the asbestos removal contractors in the Central Belt. We obtain analysis of samples from Resource and Environmental Consultants (Asbestos) Ltd.

Analysis of most textured coatings can be obtained and certificates can be provided within 2 hours for almost any location in the Central Belt for a fixed fee.
