Our market demands that we look to mitigate wherever possible. Often this means we are investigating different methods of establishing how reinstatement can occur with the least impact on a business or domestic property.
During the early part of 2009, we explored the potential for using thermal image cameras to detect ‘hot spots’ and areas beneath floors and behind walls which could be affected by an Escape of Water from, for example, a central heating system.
Our system, which allows for a capped price investigation using a thermal image camera, qualified heating engineer and surveyor, has proven to be immensely successful and has now been used on many projects. The significant savings created by eliminating wasted labour and avoiding unnecessary damage are such that many of our instructing principals use this service regularly.
